From the time he 'found' us in North Carolina, until he went to his final rest here in Washington state, he was an adventuresome and gentle soul.

He never could get his one ear to straighten up...

He lived large, and experienced much in his years. In the photo above, we were exploring the Mt. Lemon area near Tucson, AZ during a six month trip from Wilmington, NC to San Diego, CA. Below he is tromping around the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest.

He is profoundly missed, and we are forever grateful for the time we had with him.
