This is the drawing I submitted to C.O.P.S. (Custom Oregon Product Suppies) for them to sew the basic pocktes. From there, I added Fastex buckles to secure the pocket flaps, shoulder straps that cross in back, and various attachment points for other gear.
I've recently purchased an old, stout sewing machine with which I had hoped to become proficient enough to sew my own creations... but am very disappointed to find out that I HATE to sew. Drat.
That did not stop me from knocking together my latest PEST, and have actually made a few for other folks on our SAR team. Too bad about not liking that sewing bit.
